This March, help us BOX OUT HUNGER!

From March 1 - 31st, every Grifols plasma center in the U.S. is working together to collect food to help support local food banks and pantries.

Why now?

This time of year is critical for food banks and pantries, as donations begin to drop off in the spring but demand remains the same.1

What is food insecurity?

Food insecurity is when a person doesn't know where or when they'll find their next meal.

Did you know?

  • Children are more likely to face food insecurity than any other group. 1 in 4 children in the U.S. experience hunger.
  • 33% of all households served by Feeding America have had to choose between paying for food and paying for medicine or medical care.2
  • More than 37 million people struggle with hunger in the United States.3
  • 72% of food banks do not feel as though they are able to adequately meet the needs of their communities without adjusting the amount of food distributed.
  • You don't have to be a plasma donor to help!

Last year, thanks to our generous plasma donors, employees, and members of the community, we were able to donate 500,000 pounds of food to local hunger nonprofits!

You can help!

To help us in the fight against hunger, bring nonperishable food items to your nearest Grifols plasma center.
