FAQS

WHY IS MY COLLECTION VOLUME CHANGING?

Your plasma donation is now tailored to you—based on how much plasma you’re able to safely give and your individual characteristics.

WILL EVERY DONOR DONATE MORE PLASMA?

Not necessarily. Your donation volume and time in the chair might be a little different than before.

IS THIS PROCESS SAFE?

Absolutely. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We’re following established safety standards every step of the way.

WHY DOES MY HEIGHT NEED TO BE MEASURED?

With this process, your height helps determine your personalized donation amount, so it will now be measured and documented during prescreening. Our equipment measures up to 6’9” (81 inches), so donors taller than 6’9” cannot be accepted.

WILL MY DONATION TAKE LONGER?

It might. Donation times can vary, and some donors may spend a little more time in the donation chair than they have in the past.

WILL THE EQUIPMENT BE DIFFERENT?

No, the device will look and work the same as it always has. Some donors may notice a slightly larger collection container.

WHY IS MY HEIGHT BEING MEASURED?

Height is one of the factors used to determine your personalized collection volume.

WILL I RECEIVE ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION?

Compensation will continue to follow your center’s existing payment program.
